As a sum result of my research and existing knowledge / skills I have compiled a list of required technology, equipment and skills I will need for this project, and how I have met these requirements.

 

For the creative side

 

• Communication Skills: This is essential in both communicating to others and listening to them, as well as getting feedback form various sources and being able to properly take it on board

 

• Study, Reflective & Analytical skills: In order to learn as I work and effectively reflect and analyse my work I need to find the circumstances that I work best in and use this knowledge, for me this is being well rested, having a peaceful and settled work environment, and maintaining motivation to learn and work.

 

• Equipment Wise: Having mobile devices, a computer and a internet connection will allow me to make use of technology to collaborate and communicate with others around musical ideas and execution of recording production etc. These systems are already in place for me – WhatsApp, Teams, Email, WeTransfer etc

 

For the practical side

 

• I established earlier in my research what equipment and technology will be needed for me to write, perform, record and produce music – I have met the majority of these requirements or have discovered work-arounds / compromises for what I am missing

 

• I have an audio interface, monitors, a DAW (Logic Pro), guitars and relevant cables etc. Access to the internet gives me access to plugins, samples and other software elements that I can use for music production.

• Vocal Tracking & Mixing

• Guitar and Bass Amp Simulation

• Limiters

• Reverb, Stereo Imaging, Delays­
